Inspiration: Cristina Scabbia

When I look at blogs, I notice bloggers seem to talk about the same celebs time and time again, celebs that they admire or they find inspiring. It's always Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Lauren Conrad, sometimes even Kim Kardashian who is only famous for a sex tape! Don't even get me started on the TOWIE girls. Anyway, anyone who knows me, know I would love to be able to sing and if I could I would be in a band. Unfortunatly I am a mediocre singer so would prefer not to embarrass myself. I don't know if anyone has heard of a band called Lacuna Coil? My friend, Bernice, has always loved her metal and has random CD's on whenever I go round to visit. A few times, there was the same CD with a female singer whose voice is amazing. It interested me and so I went out and brought the CD, which was Lacuna Coil's Comalies. We went to see them at a small gig at ULU and they were awesome. Cristina Scabbia blew me away with her vocals, how she could sound like that live and rocking out at the same time amazes me. I've been following her on facebook recently and Cristina comes across as so humble and grateful to be in the band and interacts with her fans all the time. She believes in being true to yourself and it is better to be different than to follow the crowd and leave your own values and thoughts behind. She is a supporter of the S.O.P.H.I.E foundation which is one of my favourite charities. An all round beautiful person, inside and out.

Scouring the net...

So I've cleverley decided to look at all the websites of my favourite shops, when I've only got about £30 left with 2 weekends to go before payday. Oops! I've found some great things so far, some in the sales (yet I still can't buy- eek!). All of these are from Oasis.

There are also some great bits at Miss Selfridge and Warehouse. Think I need some extra cash...

One of the models I worked with yesterday(Denise Valentine) said she is so excited to be working with Julian M Kilsby soon and to check him out. So I did. His photography is amazing! What a lucky girl.
