Trying out red lipstick, in preparation for fancy dress tonight. Bee said I should go as Catwoman...believe me, you don't want to see post Christmas Toni in a leather skin tight cat suit.

So far, I've got Bloc Party booked, and I heard that The Joy Formidable are supporting them. Love them! I'm thinking of volunteering at a festival but I'm not too sure yet.

Resolutions are a new thing for me

I don't usually do resolutions for the new year, but I have quite a few aims for 2013 so I may as well do a few blog posts about them! Starting off small...

#1 Wear red lipstick


I have tried a few colours before, but they've never suited me. Well, it's that, or I'm just not brave enough to wear red. Hey ho, I'll try this one from Sleek Make-up, called Stileto. Will let you know how it goes.

Blog Post Ideas

Hi everyone.

Sorry for my lack of blog posts recently!! I've just moved into a new flat with my boyfriend so getting settled has kind of taken over. However, I'm back on track now so want to get this blog going again! I thought I would ask what would interest you the most in my blog. What kind of things do you like to hear about?



I've been reading blogs describing people's beauty routines and have found them quite interesting, so that's one idea. Do you like long posts or would you prefer a few pictures and a couple of sentences? Are you interested in only make-up/beauty (product recommendations, wishlists or tutorials) or would you like to see fashion posts to?

Let me know your thoughts and I'll sort something out!

Which bands have you enjoyed? I can also recommend watching Two Door Cinema Club, Mystery Jets and Florence and the Machine. Can't beat a bit of live music!

Make-up Tutorial #2

My good friend, Bernice, is going to a wedding reception on Saturday and has asked me for some eyeshadow tips. She has dark hair and grey/blue eyes, and is wearing a beige maxi dress with a pink and lilac flower print. She always wears dramatic, dark liner so I thought this would suit her. She could also try something different and just sweep shimmery gold, lilac or pale blue on her lids for a wash of subtle colour.

This is my favourite song at the moment. The Cribs are one of my favourite bands, I think I will always love them. To me, making music shouldn't be about how many singles you can sell, or how many fans you can get. It's about pouring your heart and soul into the song and expressing your emotions, sharing with the fans. The Cribs do this so perfectly. Well, I think so anyway. Enjoy!
