Since I had my MAC make-over for my birthday, I have wanted to wear false lashes every time I go out, but I could never do them. I practised last night, and I can finally get them on! It made me so happy.

I dont usually like Plan B, but I'm loving this song at the moment!

Further proof you should listen to a band even if you dont like many of their songs; they could have one of your future favourites and you wouldnt even know about it. It's happened to me with Plan B, The Drums, Vampire Weekend and Mumford & Sons now.

Lauras "bbq"

Laura had her "bbq" last night, where the food ended up getting cooked in the oven. It was nice though. I made a nice prawn rice salad thing, yum yum.I should have taken a picture really. We also tried bananas wrapped in bacon, recommended by a family friend. They were weird.

Why?

Rusko- Woo Boost. Possible the worst song I have ever heard. Now I dont usually like slagging off music, as other people may love it. But this is an exception. There isnt even any talent there. Just pure and utter shit. The guy looks flipping mental too.


On the flipside, currently on NME is another song by Delphic. This is the 3rd single I have heard and I really like them. I think I am going to buy their album. :)

Dust

Bee lent me this top, so I wore it to the Golden Retriever with Jim, teamed with white jeans. My arty attempts failed because of the dust on the mirror. So bad! I'm cleaning my room today.

Tempted

Almost brought this dress in the ASOS outlet sale. It's only £10 but I am really trying to save up to go to Mexico AND Dublin next year, AND America the year after. Goodbye new clothes! But hello amazing holidays :)

The Golden Retriever

I was mega excited last night to see Naoko again. She was staying in Bracknell just for one night last night, the sun was shining so we (Amanda and I) decided to go to a nice pub to sit in the beer garden and eat. We chose the Golden Retriever as I had never been there before and I'm so glad we did. I had a fish cobb salad, and ate every last microscopic morsel of food on my plate. It was delish!

Style Crushes

Everyone always talks about this at some point, it's now my turn.
I've noticed people saying say they love so and so's style, usually Alexa Chung or Mary Kate, and they would love to dress like them. In my view, I think it's really really hard to copy how another person dresses. There is always something slightly not quite the same, and thats because no matter how hard you try, you're personality will always show through. So I have to say I dont really have a 'style icon', but there are certainly a few celebs that always look amazing. But hey, don't feel too bad, they have a personal stylist doing it for them!

Starting again

My previous blogs were lacking any...spark (anyone think of a better word?) so I thought I would start again. I'm feeling more inspired and creative lately. Maybe there will actually be a theme this time.

Introduction to me
So, maybe you want to know the person at the computer, maybe not. I dont really know how first posts go, but here are a few facts about me.

#1 I'm almost always unsure what to write for these things. I dont like bigging myself up.

#2 I would love to learn to play the drums but have no money and no space for a kit

#3 My date of birth is used in The Inbetweeners, for Jays fake ID. They blur it out. It wasnt me who complained!

#4 At the moment I am obsessed with Shameless. I kind of fancy Lip sssh

#5 I want another dog. German Shepherd please!
